وَإِذا الدُّرُّ زانَ حُسنَ وُجوهٍ
كانَ لِلدُّرِّ حُسنُ وَجهكِ زَينا
وَتَزِيدينَ أَطيَبَ الطِّيبِ طِيباً
أَن تَمَسِّيهِ أَينَ مِثلُكِ أَينا
- الأحوص الأنصاري

And if pearls adorn the beauty of faces,
thy beauty is an adornment to pearls,
And you add fragrance to the most excellent of fragrances
If you do but touch them- where, oh where are the likes of you?
